Jesse StoneAs we post the pre-production team of “Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt” are gearing up to shoot.  The eighth made for TV movie from the Jesse Stone franchise is slated for action May 20, 2011 and will once again use Halifax, Nova Scotia and the surrounding areas as the fictional Paradise, Massachusetts.

Before any of that though, the premiere season of Blue Bloods will air its finale.  May 13th is the broadcast date for what is sure to be a blow-the-doors-off-season-ending cliff hanger entitled “The Blue Templar”.  The number one new show on television stars Selleck as New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan with the plot details on the finale reading as follows: “in his attempt to expose the Blue Templar, Frank chooses to bypass Internal Affairs after a drug bust indicates dirty cops are involved”.
