Where’s your favourite place in New Brunswick to grab a coffee?

I like going to Clementine’s Cafe in Moncton.  It's a funky and friendly place on St. George Street that was opened last year by a friend of mine, Clement Dugas.  They make wicked allonges and good sandwiches.  They also carry a local line of teas that I love - Chameleon Teas.

Where’s your favourite place in New Brunswick to grab a pint?

I don't drink beer unfortunately.  Seems like there's so many good ones out there these days.  I find beer hard to digest.  I like a good glass of wine or a good classic martini with extra olives.  Bourbon Quarter in Saint John served me a nice martini last time we played there. 

Where’s your favourite place to shop in New Brunswick?

I like shopping at the Moncton Market for good meat and cheese.  We grow most of our own veggies, so I don't need those as much.  There's a duck farmer there that makes scrumptious pates and duck fat (which I use for cooking).  I like to see what Sarah Jayne (a local jeweller) has and what Earth Threadz (organic, Canadian made clothing) has.  I also get honey and apple cider vinegar from the market.

Where in New Brunswick would we stand to see your favourite view?

I love the Mary's Point Beach, close to our home.  It's a magical place and the scene changes dramatically, depending on whether the tide is in or out.  You can walk on the beach and there are crazy rock formations and there's never anyone there!  It's a dreamy place...

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit New Brunswick:

1. See the Fundy Coast along Route 915.  It's wild and spectacular.
2. Go to the beach in July. Shediac, Cap Pelee and beyond - there are many beautiful sandy beaches where the water is warm enough to swim in July, August, and even September.
3. Check out St. George Street in Moncton.  It's an up and coming neighbourhood with new and interesting businesses popping up.  There's Calactus Vegetarian Restaurant (where I work), Laundromat Expresso Bar, Galerie E Dans L'A, Dolma Foods and more.

What makes New Brunswick such a special place on earth for you?

It's where my home is.  It's where a lot of special people live, that I can call my friends.
