Rawlins Cross is on the Road

rawlinscross-cd-highresRawlins Cross is on the road.  Touring Atlantic Canada Jan 13 thru 22 - the fellas are featuring music from their first full-length studio album in 12 years Heart Head Hands and of course all the hits that have made them one of Canada’s most accomplished and beloved Celtic bands.

The first stop at Halifax’s Rebecca Cohn was a hit and with they’re off with stops in New Brunswick, PEI, Cape Breton and winding her down in St. John’s, NL – where the band was formed nearly 23 years ago.

RawlinsCross-RC2And after all that time it’s still a rush as SABS discovered when we caught up to band member Ian McKinnon post opening night “The tour kick off show at the Cohn in Halifax was a treat!  We’re playing a lot of new material so there was a good measure of nervous energy.  Nothing like playing for the home town crowd!”
