POSTcard – From St. Margaret’s House with Light & Love

Anyone who has met the Ryan Sisters, Maria and Lauretta, know they are something special. Between their singing and motivational speaking engagements they have inspired so many.

Today the two Nova Scotia born, New Brunswick raised sisters - along with their family gathered to give back at Margaret’s House in Dartmouth, NS - An area soup kitchen that serves nutritious meals to the needy.

It’s an annual tradition for them and it’s a great example for us! SABS

Hello from Margaret’s House!

Each year in January our family prepares a full Christmas meal with all the trimmings as well as a gift bag for all. We feel very blessed to be able to help out and contribute to Margaret’s House which is a wonderful facility that feeds the hungry/homeless for over 20 years in downtown Dartmouth on the corner of Wentworth and Ochterloney. Every chance we get our family likes to contribute food, clothing and time to Margaret’s House, and we find it very rewarding to give back to the less fortunate among us. It really warms our hearts to see the smiles on their faces coming in from the cold to enjoy a hot meal.

We are so looking forward to next January for our annual family weekend helping Margaret’s House.
