Cape Breton Christmas Daddies 2010 – Behind the Scenes

It’s a wonderful cause – let’s start there as Christmas Daddies helps the less fortunate children in the Maritime Provinces have a better Christmas.

So happy to once again be a part of the Cape Breton Christmas Daddies Telethon – great people, incredible musicians and outstanding generosity helped make 2010 a very merry Christmas for so many.

I love this picture because in the video you can see it from camera guy Jamie's perspective...this action made the broadcast. That's me shooting for SABS seated with Scott Boyd while Jayson Baxter supervises the silly. Photo courtesy: Betty Anne Cameron

It really is like a party – one the organizers plan for all year mind you, but for folks like me who show up and share in the hosting - it’s seven hours worth of good fun.  I did my best to provide you with a glimpse of what you couldn’t see on TV – some highlights and high jinx and high hopes realized.

Thanks to Mary Murphy, her outstanding team and all involved for involving me and allowing Sea and be Scene to capture the sights and sounds of the truly merry 2010 Cape Breton Christmas Daddies Telethon. sb
