Delights of Devon House – Craft Council Creations

Creativity abounds in Newfoundland & Labrador – it’s everywhere you look (and listen).

And inside the Devon House on Duckworth - you are surrounded by it.  The historical St. John’s property that’s home to the Craft Council for the province – is bursting at the seams with it.

Inspiration and creation – in just about every medium you can imagine.  It’s remarkable to experience – to stroll through and see what imaginative pieces the artists and artisans have painted, carved, woven, sculpted and all.  It’s a must do!

And if you feel you must do it too – you can sign up for their creative clay workshop and be instructed by accomplished artists in the field.

Hand crafted – one of a kind creations are available in their beautiful shop and wouldn’t it be wonderful to take a little bit of all that’s special about Newfoundland & Labrador home with you. SABS

  1. Nice photo! The Craft Council shop is wonderful and the one-of-a-kind work in the gallery upstairs is amazing. Interesting old building to visit as well.
