What are your family ties to Nova Scotia?   
My Dad’s ancestors landed in Lunenburg via ship in 1751 and have remained in the area ever since!!

The Kiwi Café in Chester

Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a pint?

The Split Crow in Old Halifax

Where in Nova Scotia would we stand to see your favourite view?

The shores of Gold River & the rocks of Peggy’s Cove.

Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit Nova Scotia

1. Go to Peggy’s Cove, especially just after a big storm
2. Visit beautiful and historic Lunenburg (especially when Bluenose II is at the dock)
Go see an Irish band in a historic dive in Halifax!
3. Stop by Aunt Rae’s for some fudge and a round of guts.

What makes Nova Scotia such a special place on earth for you?

The people (the most hospitable people on Earth) and the richness of the maritime culture.

In addition to having family ties to the province of Nova Scotia – Amanda has her Bachelor of Science degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS with an advanced major in Marine Biology. Cool!
