Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a coffee?
It’s a tie between the Designer Café in Kentville, where I dream about the grilled chicken, spinach and feta foccacia, and WHET café in Halifax, where Joel whips up the most delectable cupcakes to pair with your latte.

Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a pint?
‘The Port’ gastropub, Port Williams, NS. Besides the Sea Level brewery located on site, Jeremy’s homemade ginger ale is to die for. www.theportpub.com
Where’s your favourite place to shop in Nova Scotia?
Biscuit General Store, Halifax. I always find completely unexpected & fabulous finds there. www.biscuitgeneralstore.com
Where in Nova Scotia would we stand to see your favourite view?
Hands down, Cape Blomidon, NS. I most like to view driving towards Canning, NS.
Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when we visit Nova Scotia:
1. Eat lobster. Preferably the lobster has been freshly delivered to a nearby lobster pound, and boiled at home in ocean water.
2. Check out all the farm markets in the Annapolis Valley and only eat locally-grown produce, meat, poultry & fish, wines and cheeses. The Saturday Farmer’s Market in Wolfville is amazing www.wolfvillefarmersmarket.ca
3. Go for a nice, long country drive and enjoy the breath-taking views.
What makes Nova Scotia such a special place on earth for you?
My husband Geoff. Without him, I’d still be a city-girl, living in Toronto.
