A.B.C.’s with Angela Antle*
*A (art) B (broadcast) C (culture) with Angela Antle (the woman in the know)
If you’re looking for the quickest connection to the arts and culture scene in Newfoundland and Labrador your best bet is Angela Antle. Host of CBC radio’s Weekend Arts Magazine (WAM) Angela has her finger on the pulse of the whole picture. We did talk about that when we met at The Rooms in St. John’s this summer and we also experienced Angela’s latest contribution to the art world. The award winning artist has just added another medium to her credit – in Shorelines Angela combines music and movement, images and light to create “The Fiddler” - as engaging and fun as the artist herself. It was great get her perspective on this amazing province – and cool as well to discover the best spot to take a dip in Grand Falls, NL (listen & learn). Thanks Angela for the inside scoop on the scene and swim. SABS
SABS Salute to Sam Wilson...
a huge thank you to Guysborough County, NS resident Sam Wilson (and his dad Garth) who were touring The Rooms during their vacation. Sam graciously danced up a storm and greatly demonstrated Angela's incredible soundscape. You're the man Sam!!!
