Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a coffee?
My first pic would be at home with my Italian Cafeter, I’m a total coffee snob, but I love all of the smaller cool coffee shops- Stevarino’s, Just us, that place on Hollis that does it’s own roasting, and Common Ground
Where’s your favourite place in Nova Scotia to grab a pint?
Stayner’s (Halifax) - friendly staff and they treat musicians great.
Where’s your favourite place to shop in Nova Scotia?
Long and McQuade of course. Clothing: American Apparel or a good find at Value Village.
Where in Nova Scotia would we stand to see your favourite view?
I live on a 45 acre farm on top of a beautiful hill with tonnes of pasture at the end of a dirt road. Totally peaceful, and definitely my favorite view.
Name 3 things we’ve gotta do when I visit Nova Scotia
1. Go see a band. This province is blessed with tonnes of great music.
2. See the sights- Cabot trail, Peggy’s Cove, our beautiful scenery
3. Swim in the ocean, it’s healing and energizing
What makes Nova Scotia such a special place on earth for you?
Nova Scotia has everything I could ever want for myself:
- My wonderful family; a wife and two sons.
- A farm at the end of a dirt road in the middle of nowhere and working towards achieving total self sustainability.
- It gives me the support to create, teach, and perform music for venues, schools, house concerts in the way that I do.
