We squeezed into her action-packed schedule just before sound check for a show that night and Melanie picked the spot – the beautiful Public Gardens in Halifax. We didn’t know it when we locked in the location – but every prom-bound student in the city had chosen that place too (thus the activity in the park) but it made for the perfect backdrop – a metaphor if you will, for the artist herself...busy, beautiful and enjoying another exciting chapter in her incredible life!
