Proud Newfoundlander Kim Stockwood is heading back to the homeland this summer and back into studio for a project that celebrates the music she holds dear. Collaborating with fellow NL artists, the award-winning singer-songwriter will record traditional favourites from the province and some original material too.
Beyond the songs – Stockwood will be back in front of the cameras too - taking viewers on a guided tour of her old stomping ground. The special will air on CMT in the New Year. Very special indeed!!!
Gone but not forgotten...
While the girls have gone back to solo projects and are awesome on their own – SABS loved Shaye (AKA Kim Stockwood NL, Damhnait Doyle NL & Tara Maclean PEI) and most especially loved this song "Happy Baby...these lines upon my face I’d be a fool to erase ‘cause they show my place in this world..." I mean - how cool is that line?!
